  3. A 5,000-Liter Water Tank for Loruvan School

A 5,000-Liter Water Tank for Loruvan School

Help move the water line up for students at Loruvan School.

At Loruvan School, water is part of what makes an ordinary school day possible.

The school serves approximately 500 students, but reliable water access remains a basic challenge. Water is needed throughout the school day for sanitation, hygiene, food preparation, and other everyday needs.

The school needs additional water storage to make sure water is available when students and teachers need it, especially during dry periods.

A 5,000-liter water tank would provide that additional storage. The tank itself costs $500, with another $250 needed for delivery and installation.

That means one clear goal:

5,000 liters. $750. One fully installed water tank

What your support can provide

Every donation helps fund part of the tank’s 5,000-liter capacity:

  • $15 helps fund 100 liters
  • $75 helps fund 500 liters — 10% of the tank
  • $150 helps fund 1,000 liters — 20% of the tank
  • $375 helps fund 2,500 liters — half the tank
  • $750 funds the full 5,000-liter tank, including delivery and installation

Every contribution moves the water line higher.

Once the goal reaches $750, Olekiroshi can purchase and install the tank at Loruvan School.

Why a water tank matters

Reliable water storage supports many of the basic needs that make a school day possible.

It means having water available for sanitation and hygiene. It supports food preparation in the school kitchen. And during dry periods, additional storage can help the school manage times when water is less readily available.

A 5,000-liter tank can support water storage for approximately 500 students, depending on rainfall and water use.

This is not an abstract goal. It is one tank the school needs.
