Olekiroshi, through Grains of Good Foundation, is raising funds to help Lamoloki School add more water tanks, improve sanitation, and strengthen the water system that supports the school’s garden and daily life.
Lamoloki School is located in one of Tanzania’s dry regions, where reliable water access affects daily school life, sanitation, and the school’s ability to maintain basic infrastructure.
The school has already made important progress. The community has drilled a well, planted banana trees, installed roof gutters to collect rainwater, and started improving bathroom facilities. According to Olekiroshi, these first steps are already helping the school become more self-sufficient, including covering part of its food needs.
The next step is specific and practical: add more water tanks.
More water storage can help Lamoloki School use its existing water access more reliably, improve sanitation, care for the trees and infrastructure already started, and continue moving toward greater self-sufficiency over time.
This campaign supports a specific program need: expanding water and sustainability infrastructure at Lamoloki School.
Funds will help cover:
Campaign goal: $1,000
Lamoloki School has already started building a system that connects water, food, and sanitation.
The well, rainwater collection, banana trees, and bathroom improvements are important first steps. But without enough water storage, the school cannot fully use this infrastructure throughout the year.
Additional tanks can help make the system more reliable. They can support food growing, help improve sanitation, and reduce the school’s dependence on outside support over time.
This is not a one-time supply project. It is the next step in helping Lamoloki School strengthen infrastructure it has already begun to build.
