Care feels different when a parent can ask questions in their own language. For Russian-speaking families, developmental care is not only about what happens during a child’s session. Parents also need to understand therapy goals, next steps, and how to support their child at home.
When a child receives ABA therapy, speech therapy, or sensory integration support, parents are part of the process too.
They need to understand what the specialist is working on, what progress may look like, and what daily strategies can help outside the therapy room. For Russian-speaking families in Northern California, that understanding often depends on being able to ask questions and hear explanations in their own language.
Sunny Nest Learning Hub is being prepared as a bilingual English–Russian space for ABA therapy, speech therapy, sensory integration support, childcare, parent education, and system navigation.
This part of the campaign focuses on the people behind that care: the specialists who will work with children and communicate with families. Onboarding and training help prepare a team that can support children’s development while helping parents feel informed, included, and less alone in the process.
Your support helps prepare specialists to provide bilingual developmental care for children and families through Sunny Nest Learning Hub.

Goal: $2,000
For many families, that clarity matters as much as the session itself. It helps parents understand what is happening, ask better questions, and continue supporting their child between appointments.
This training helps Sunny Nest build the foundation for care that is not only bilingual, but also understandable, respectful, and connected to each family’s daily life.
