About The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) is a nonprofit advocacy organization founded in 1981. The organization works on behalf of Black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity. Its primary areas of focus are health, education, and economic empowerment. NCBW supports the principles of equal rights and equitable access to opportunities. The organization also prepares members for effective leadership, civic participation, and action on issues affecting their communities. Its broader agenda includes strategic alliances, civic engagement, racial justice, and social justice. Through advocacy, leadership development, and collaboration, NCBW works toward a future where Black women and girls can thrive without socioeconomic inequity.
